The Reverend Jones Jim Jones [Drums, Vocals] Born in Wichita Falls, Texas, he's still trying to play down his Southern Roots. Jim has the most mainstream musical tastes in the band-- [Steely Dan, Jackson Browne, Alt. Country, Pink Floyd and John Mellencamp] He's been playing the drums since the 3rd grade, but claims he peaked at the age of 11. He doesn't understand what all the fuss is about singing and playing drums--"It's not really that hard". Jim writes most of the lyrics for BLACK ROSE original tunes. Jim has played in the following Madison bands: TryAngle, Fromage D'Amour, Marques Bovre & The Evil Twins and The Starving Coyotes. |
